Callum's Spellbook 4 csillagozás

Tracey West: Callum's Spellbook

Based on the hit Netflix show from the head writer
of Avatar: The Last Airbender, this humorous, in-world
notebook has everything a fan needs to know about the magical world
of The Dragon Prince!

Callum won't inherit the throne of Katolis like his little brother
Ezran, and he prefers drawing in his sketchbook to wielding
a sword. His biggest dream, though, is learning the secrets of Xadia's
primal source magic.

That's where this sketchbook-turned-spellbook comes in. These
pages hold Callum's notes and drawings of his friends, enemies, dragons,
elves, other creatures of Xadia, and most importantly, everything
he knows – or seeks to know – about primal source
magic. His friends Ezran, Rayla, Claudia and Soren have added
some of their own notes, too.

Features original concept art not found anywhere else;
a must-have for any fan of the show!

Tracey West: Callum's Spellbook

Villads's ship is called the Ruthless. As Villads said, „It's named after me dear wife, Ruth, who sadly, don't enjoy sailing.”

Life is like a river. You can't see too far ahead. Don't try to control where the river goes. There's one thing you can control – yourself. Once you know that, you'll be okay, no matter where the river takes you.

„Human” Rayla

Callum's been writing a lot about me in his book, but he left out one of my very best skills: pretending to be a human!
It's easy! All I need is a hood to cover my horns and gloves to hide the fact that I have four fingers instead of five. (Who needs a pinky, anyway? Doesn't is just get in the way?)
Once I've got my disguise, I just add my perfect human impression. I say lots of things humans might say, like:
„I sure do like talking about money, don't you?”
„Hey, let's start a war!”
„I enjoy staying out in the sun even though I know it's bad for me!”
„Let's go judge and criticize thing other humans do, and then do the exact same things ourselves!”
„I am excited to rapidly eat a plate of unwholesome fodd in an excessive portion size!”
„Other human, let's talk about which roads and pathways will take us somewhere slightly faster than other roads and pathways!”
„My, your skull is very smooth!”
„I love saying 'I know, right?' to tell someone I agree with them.”

When I look at him, I see more than a cute dragon. I see hope. Hope for the future. Because if we succeed – when we succeed – we'll bring peace to the human world and to Xadia. I know that so many generations before us fell into the traps of mistrust, and eventually violence and war. But I believe we can be different, and build a future of love.
