Sherrilyn Kenyon: Born of Defiance

Talyn történtével kicsit visszaugrunk az időben, ami mondjuk ennél a sorozatnál egyáltalán nem meglepő :D Nyk (Born of Night) könyvével párhuzamosan betekintehtünk az Andariai történésekbe és sajnos azt kell mondanom, hogy a poltikai helyzet és az ármánykodás jobban lekötött, mint a gerlepár problémája. Imádom Kenyont, de ez most nagyon nem… még Maris könyvét is jobban szerettem, pedig eddig azt tartottam a leggyengébbnek a sorozatból. Helyenként megvolt a humor, megvolt az izgalom, de tompábbnak érzem, mint máskor. Kenyontól nem ehhez vagyok szokva.

Ha jobban belegondolok, akkor két dolog van, ami számomra kicsit elrontotta ezt a kötetet:
Az ismeretlen random szereplők megjelenése a semmiből. Legtöbbször olyan szereplők kapnak saját kötetet, akiket már korábbról ismerhetünk, akire valamiért már kíváncsiak lehettünk – időnként meg megjelennek ezek a töltelék kötetek. Ami önmagában most sem lett olyan rossz, csak hát, dammit!, ennél már többet várok! Túl magasra tetszett tenni a lécet korábban :D

A másik dolog pedig az, hogy Talyn rettentően fiatal és sajnos úgy is viselkedik. Valahogy sem neki, sem Feliciának nem sikerült közel kerülnie hozzám és ettől kezdve a szenvelgésük sem tudott igazán meghatni…

His friend turned the male’s face away from her. “Don’t even. I saw her eating with the Hammer earlier. More to the point, hand-feeding him.”
