Szerintem nagy előrelépés történt az első rész óta, amikor is Rain szellemlátó képessége csak a nehézséget jelentette a munkában és a magánéletben egyaránt, és ő maga sem lelkesedett az új státuszáért, miszerint híd legyen a két világ között.
Mostanra Danny teljesen megváltozott, ő az abszolút támogató, türelmes álompasi, a meló jól megy, még ha akad is pár gikszer, azért folyamatosan oldanak meg régi eltűnéses eseteket, és Rain is a fejlődés útjára lépett a képességével kapcsolatban, bár néhány nevetséges guru látogatáson előbb át kellett esnie.
Egyre több szellem kér segítséget, de azért van egy fő ügyünk. Itt volt egy jó megérzésem, ám ettől nem lett kevésbé érdekes a nyomozás.
Tetszik nekem ez a „ketten a világ ellen” felállás. Egyáltalán nem arról van szó, hogy akadályoktól mentes sztorikat várok, amikor ilyen rendőr párosokkal van dolgunk, de baromira nem mindegy, milyen természetű problémákat helyez nagyító alá a szerző.
Összességében ez a könyv számomra pont megfelelő keveréke a humornak, a romantikának, és a detektív munkának, a komolyabb témáknak.
