Jory Keyes leads a normal life as an architect’s assistant until he is witness to a brutal murder. Mary Calmes: A Matter of Time 1.

Jory véletlenül végignéz egy gyilkosságot. Mivel ő az egyetlen tanú a rendőrség tanúvédeli programba küldené. Ő azonban nem akarja otthagyni a munkáját.
A történetből nem derül ki, hogy Sam a rendőr „véletlenül” botlik-e bele hősünkbe vagy követi őt, de elkezdődik közöttük vmi.

Ami tetszett:
– Humoros
– Jó a stílus
– Kevés szóval is képes érzékeltetni, hogy vibrál a két hős között a levegő
– Jory önállósága és a főnökével való kapcsolata
– A két szereplő közti erőviszonyok a hálószobában és azon kívül

Ami nem tetszett:
– Jory makacssága és hülyesége, hogy bár vadásznak rá, mégis állandóan egyedül kószál az éjszakában
– Hogy mindenki gyönyörű :S
– Sam reakciója (Te azt hitted? Te komolyan azt hitted, hogy…?) :(
