João Correia Filho: Lisbon in Pessoa A Tour and Literary Guide of the Portuguese Capital
Ezt Lisszabonban vettem a Saramago múzeum shopjában. Tök drága volt, továbbá kb. egy mázsa, ki is esett a kötésből egyben a komplett könyv. Viszont nagyon szép.

There is an interesting story involving the author Mia Couto, that became a literary anecdot […]: the Mozambican was asked to give a lecture in the United States, to a convention specifically devoted to feminists and black women. The confusion began: when the writer arrived, the women despaired, because they realised Mia Couto was neither black, nor a woman!

And Sidónio, because he attracts a crowd of women, the granddoughters of women who knew him at the time, women in love with this man, who was considered a symbol of beauty”, he concludes. How handsome…

One of its most famous frequenters was poet Manuel Maria du Bocage, who accumulated stories and jokes related to the place. It is said he had the habit of always responding in rhyme, and when approached by a policeman who asked him where he went, he replied:
Im Bocage
I come from Nicola
I'll go to the other world
if you fire your pistol.
