Nem teljesen értem, miért, de kissé csalódott vagyok. Nagyon vártam Vishous történetét, főleg Butch gyengébb része után. Jobban is tetszett, mint az, nagyrészt Marissa hiánya miatt. Jane-t kedveltem, és szerettem a párosukat V-vel, de valami hiányzott. És az istennek se tudok rájönni, mi… Lehet, hogy a történetük lezárása az ok? Mert azt nem éppen így képzeltem… Bár ez sem magyarázná meg, miért érdekelt jobban, mi történik másokkal a könyv során: John Matthew vergődése; vagy, hogy mi a helyzet Qhuinn-nel; és a végén, (eddig nagyon nem szerettem) még Phury történetszála is jobban lekötött. Szóval az én kifordult ízlésem számlájára írom az egészet. Mivel a regény tényleg jó: a történetvezetés összeszedettebb, kevesebb a sehová sem vezető fejezet (köszönöm, hogy nem kellett megint egy jelentéktelen Mr. X/Y/Z sztoriját is követnem); a női karakter egyenesen Marissa ellentéte volt (ez csak önmagában megér plusz egy csillagot); és elkezdtük lezárni mindkét szerelmi háromszöget. Szóval, kérdezem magamtól, mi a jó eget akartam még? Csak sajnos fogalmam sincs.
