Giovanna Fletcher: Billy and Me

Alapvetően azért vettem meg a könyvet, mert a kedvenc zenekarom egyik tagjának a felesége írta, aki színésznő, újságíró és egy csodás jellem. Különösen az érdekelt, hogy milyen meglátásai vannak a sztár-normál ember kapcsolatról, minthogy ő első kézből ismeri milyen nehézségekkel és kihívásokkal jár.

Angol szempontjából nekem nagyon tetszett Gi írása, mivel kifejezetten jól kombinálta a szép angol kifejezéseket és a szlenget. Ami a történetet illeti, azért tartott majd' két évig az olvasása, mert a történet nem kifejezetten olvastatja magát; mint ahogy a legtöbb regény, amelyet olvasni szoktam. Ennek ellenére, visszanézve kifogástalanul megmutatja azokat a lelki folyamatokat, amelyeken valószínűleg Gi maga is keresztülment.

Nem egy többször olvasandó írás, de nem bántam meg, hogy nem a félbehagyás mellett döntöttem!
