An Anthology of Selected Victorian Writing
Adrian Radu: The Palace of Art

The aim of The Palace of Art is to tempt its readers of the older and newer generations with the fascination of Victorian literature. As such, it contains a collection of texts that the author considers representative for the Victorian age. They are placed in critical perspective and preceded by introductions meant to integrate the readers into the context of the work and the extracts which follow. The book is complete with a glossary and notes whose goal is to fill in possible lexical and cultural gaps that might occur in the reading of the texts. The book bears the mark of the enthusiasm of its author and is the result of the constant and invaluable support of his wife, Michaela.
